Our newsletter/blog uses a double opt-in process to ensure your delivery consent. In step 1, you provide your email address and sign up on the www.yourkeyingredients.com website. In some cases you have provided your name and email in the speaker survey card you completed and that information is entered for you. In step 2, you receive a confirmation email and if you’re interested in being included on Cheryl’s newsletter/blog list, you must click the link to verify your email in order to be signed up. If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For those that register on our website (through Prep forms and Contact forms), we also store the personal information provided in their user profile indefinitely. We will comply with your request, at no charge to you, within one calendar month by deleting your account, along with all of your personally-identifiable data that is subject to any Key Ingredients processing. Naturally, after we grant your request you will not have access to any Key Ingredients products or services unless and until you open a new Key Ingredients account. Key Ingredients may use reasonable means to confirm your identity before granting any request for data so as to prevent the granting of fraudulent requests.
- To Restrict Processing of Your Data. You can request that your data not be processed via Key Ingredients partners. You can make that request by emailing us at info@yourkeyingredients and, if you wish, you can even specify which third parties to restrict from processing your data. We will respond to your request, at no charge to you, within thirty (30) days from when you make your request. Please be advised that some of our partners, e.g., ConvertKit, Stripe, etc., are essential to Key Ingredients services, so that if you block processing by them, Key Ingredients’ services may be unavailable to you.
